Beng Melea is the true adventures temple.
Lying 60km from Siem Reap past the village of Domdek this is a temple still shrouded in mystery.

Our day starts by heading off through the Rolous Temple Group. For those with a temple pass a quick visit is possible to Bakong Temple. For those without some great photo opportunities are possible from the outside of this temple. Our guide provides information on these very early temples, including some of the history of Bakong and its infamous past.

From the Rolous Group we head through some amazing country side. Opportunities to witness daily life in the villages are plentiful Journey through rice paddies and farms on your way to Banteay Srei 2. (this is not the pink carved Banteay Srei) Another great chance for some amazing and unique photos.Banteay Srei 2 is a small temple covered with jungle growth. Set next to a Pagoda and near some Chinese Graves the temple site is an interesting spot to visit.

Your next stop is to visit a small local river quarry where large stones were cut and floated to Beng Melea. An interesting place to gain a glimpse at the work involved in sourcing the massive stones required for the construction of the temples.

Before entering Beng Melea we stop and enjoy our picnic lunch. A great chance to get some fuel inside before the Indiana Jones and Lara Croft work begins. Our journey of Beng Melea involves climbing, up, over and through this incredible temple. Our guide will help you learn a little more about the incredible history of the Khmer Empire and some of the theories of Beng Melea.

• This tour is capped at a maximum of 8 people
• This tour fills up quickly to please book early to avoid disappointment.
  $32 per person. The Angkor Temple pass is not required however there is a $5 Beng Melea pass required.
  You are required to pay this to gain site entry.
• A non refundable deposit of $10 is required to secure your booking.
• Please be aware a reasonable level of fitness and agility is required for this tour
• You must be ready in The Villa Restaurant before 8am – tour departs at 8.00am sharp
