Located some 16km from Siem Reap the village of Komong Phhluk is an absolute must see. Built in the flood plane of the Tonle Sap the houses here tower on stilts as high as 10 meters. In wet season the stilts are hidden and water laps at the floor boards. The flooded mangrove forests are an incredible sight and a wonderful place to tour by boat. This is one of our favourite places in Siem Reap.

Our tour includes all transport out to The Village. On route we take in a fantastic local market, an ideal short stop for photos and a wonderful change to capture some amazing sights. We journey by boat down to the village passing some incredible sights along the way.
Once at the village you have an incredible chance to explore this amazing place. Peoples livelihoods are built around the water, with fish and shrimp harvesting being a staple. Few foreigners make it out this far, making this a special place to visit.

Make sure you bring plenty of film, or an extra memory card the photo opportunities are incredible.
