This tour provides a wonderful opportunity to view some of Siem Reaps beautiful rice paddies, and learn about the way the average Khmer familiy lives.  You will be guided by one the Sojourn team members, who will share with you stories about Khmer life and culture and provide an insight into Cambodia that you won't forget.   Allow around 2.5 hours return.

The Treak Village Enrichment Program

This program was established by Sojourn at the start of 2009.  The program is supported by the Village Chief and input was provided by some of the villages poorest families.  In 2009 the program has four key aims;

1. Provision of water filters

2. Provision of water wells

3. Rubbish Collection (late 09)

4. Tree Grants (late 09)

This program aims to improve the living conditions in the village and help the village face the challenges that accompany every day life in Cambodia.   Your participation in this tour makes and immediate difference in these families lives.
